Your church community can make a difference and help transform thousands of lives every year.

We simply couldn’t do what we do, changing lives and communities, without the partnership and support of local churches like yours!

Supporting a charity together as a church can be a great way of fostering community and inspiring the whole congregation. We are so happy you wish to join us in setting people free from poverty, and there are many ways you can fundraise.

Life is full of uncertainty, but having worked with CAP and our church family, we feel like we have an army behind us!

Take up a collection for CAP

This is one of the easiest ways for you to raise money for CAP. You could inspire your congregation by showing a CAP story whilst you take up the collection!

We’ve created some helpful resources you can use when taking a collection in your church. We can provide posters, giving envelopes for card/cash donations and leaflets about CAP’s debt service. Just give our Supporter Care team a call on 01274 760761.

Make a one-off donation

The easiest, quickest and most efficient way of doing this is online.

If you would like to make a donation by cheque, please make it payable to Christians Against Poverty and send to Fundraising Support, Christians Against Poverty, Jubilee House, 1 Filey Street, Bradford, BD1 5LQ

Run a CAP Sunday

CAP Sunday is an annual event where churches across the UK can reflect on UK poverty, celebrating and learning what God is doing through Christians Against Poverty (CAP). Join hundreds of churches across the UK and celebrate CAP Sunday to highlight the life-transforming work of CAP.

For CAP Sunday we provide study materials, video, speaker notes, everything you need.
