Real poverty exists here in the UK and debt is a major contributor. For people who are living on very low incomes and struggling to make ends meet, debt repayments can mean they are unable to afford the basics of life: regular meals, heating, clothing or medication.
Debt causes relational poverty too. Stress, sleepless nights and constant arguing about money all put a massive strain on marriages and families. This all results in emotional poverty: bitterness, depression and even suicide attempts. People across our nation are living in fear with no hope.
But the Spirit of the Lord is upon us to preach good news to the poor. We can relieve all forms of poverty caused by debt. We do have an answer.
We can only bring hope and salvation if people like you join us.
