Thanks to our fundraisers, CAP can continue to move forward and impact more and more lives across the UK. We would love you to join our team of fundraisers for 2012 and hope that you can find an event to get involved in.

Whether you're keen on a short fun run or a grueling marathon, a sponsored run is a great way to fundraise for CAP, with many events available throughout the year and all over the country.

If you want to see the sights and get some miles under your belt, why not get involved in a sponsored cycle for CAP? There are many exciting routes available within the UK and beyond!

Whether you're an experienced swimmer or a novice, why not challenge yourself with a sponsored swim for CAP? There are several large-scale events staged during the summer, or you can even arrange your own!

If you enjoy a scenic hike or the occasional ramble, why not take part in a sponsored walk for CAP? There are plenty of events you can take part in throughout the UK.
We believe that the church is the hope of the world. It holds in its hands the only message that can change lives and communities both now and for eternity. That’s why our services are always run in partnership with a local church.
We would like to give you the opportunity to create awareness of CAP in your local community and raise funds to help us impact more lives across the UK.
‘Organising a supermarket bag pack takes very little time and effort to organise. In just a few hours, we raised £1,300 for CAP as well as raising the charity’s profile amongst our community!’ – Gwyn
Are you able to give up a few hours of your time to help people at your local checkout pack their grocery bags? This year you have the opportunity to join other churches across the UK to pack bags in your local supermarket for Christians Against Poverty.
Large or small, Coffee Mornings are a fantastic opportunity to get together with friends to chat, mingle, have fun and share the exciting and life changing work of CAP.
Here's how one of our supporters organised and ran an event in their church in 2011:
‘I organised a Saturday afternoon tea party and invited members of my church fellowship group. Just over 20 people came! I set up a table to display the work of CAP, showed a short DVD and asked for donations. I raised over £500 and two friends even decided to make a monthly gift to CAP.’ – Natalie'

Whether it’s a selection of sandwiches, a bring-and-share lunch or a three course sit down dinner, sharing food always creates a great occasion and the perfect excuse for a church get together.
Here's how one of our supporters organised and ran an event in their church in 2011:
'We called our event “Soup Sunday”. We gave people the opportunity to make a donation for their soup and roll, as well as selling homemade cakes for dessert. We raised over £400 from the 80 people who attended.'
