Questions
Q: Is CAP just for Christians?
No, CAP will help anyone regardless of their religious beliefs. CAP aims to ensure that no one receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of race, nationality, religion, age, gender, marital status, sexual preference or disability.
Q: Does it cost anything?
No, our service is completely free. As a charity we always give people the opportunity to give to the charity so we can help more families but this is completely voluntary.
Q: Will the people I owe money to co-operate with you?
Councils, utilities and mortgage companies work with us because we have the same goal, and they have seen the results of our involvement. They know we offer fair repayments based on what you can afford. As long as your living expenses are justified, reasonable and necessary creditors do accept our repayment offers.
Q: Why can’t you help people over the phone?
We offer our unique CAP service through local centres and home visits, this is due to some of the distinct needs of many of our clients. For more information on finding a CAP Centre near you click here.
