Give the gift of food, a home or salvation this Christmas.
In 2009 we are expecting to help 6164 families and individuals out of debt. Many of these families will have bare cupboards and haven’t had a proper meal for months due to debt. Many are facing the threat of eviction and thousands need to know that God loves them. Your gift could make a real difference to a family in their hour of need.
'Food shopping was a battle of wills between what we needed and what we could afford. I was frightened that we were going to run out of food. Julie from CAP came to our door with bags full of food. At that point, I cried. No one had ever been so kind to us before.' Christine and Jimmy, Dunfermline
Would you give a gift of food to someone?
£25 for a single person, £50 for a couple or £100 for a family.
'When Pam from CAP came round, my youngest daughter Melissa said, ‘I believe in God' and she decided to become a Christian. Days later, Julie (CAP Support Worker) came round and brought a Bible for Melissa. As a result, our whole family became Christians!' Emily, Leeds
Would you help someone come to know God?
£5 will give someone a bible or £100 will send someone on a Discovery Break, where they will find out more about God.
‘We got a letter in December to say that our home would be repossessed. Dave from CAP stepped in and got the eviction suspended until after Christmas. In January, Dave pleaded our case and the court agreed to quash the eviction orders and let us keep our house.' The Wright Family, Fleetwood
Would you give £300 to provide CAP’s support for the first crucial year and keep a family in their home?
