This week I have continued on my busy schedule, this time visiting CAP Australia. We had an amazing weekend with a fundraising dinner in Sydney and a Client Awards and Fundraising Dinner in Newcastle, raising a total of AU$130,000. I’ve also attended various strategic planning meetings and, though there have been a few challenges, it has been so encouraging to see the work that CAP is doing here in Australia and New Zealand. They might be on the other side of the world but they have the same heart to reach the poor and needy for God and change hundreds of lives.

It’s been a whistle stop 14 days of preaching, speaking, planning – you name it, we’ve done it! It is such a privilege to take this work to the other side of the world and I am grateful to God for enabling me to do the work I do.

On my way back I experienced a five hour stop at Changi Airport in Singapore. Not much to do in an airport to pass that amount of time but at least the Christmas decorations were interesting – see the picture below (they were taller than me!). Next week I’ll be back in the UK so keep an eye out for my blog appearing on the website with more of what’s going on in the life of CAP.
